Last month my colleagues and I decided to have a road trip to Malacca. Off we embarked on our journey in 3 cars. All we wanted to do was to de-stress and indulge in glorious food we can find around the Malacca city.
We managed to reach by mid morning. First stop was the chicken rice ball which I will blog about later. Then we have FOOD all the way to late evening. There is this place we went called Donald & Lily’s, which was recommended by a colleague of mine.
Though it was a corner shop-lot by itself; out of the busy jonker street, food-goers still filled the place. It was crowded. And man the food was good and so CHEAP!
Gosh, I am missing the Ponteh Chicken rice already…

I love this sooo much!!! RM 4.50 for the whole set! Ponteh chicken with rice & ju-hu-char! The chicken gravy was sooo tasty I could just drink it... LOL
We saw every table ordering this, so we had a big plate of it too... Tau Pok Rojak!!! Crispy tau foo & assorted fruits & fish paste!
Imagine in this trip, we had various rounds of cendols in different places... SYOK!
Do you want any cendol? Haha!

Glad u like them as I always make a pt to stop by there to taste their Nyonya Cendol. They have really grown from a small stall to a restaurant serving all kinds of food.
